In-vivo exposure therapy for public outings (stores, restaurants)

Community

About This Program

We accompany your child into real community settings — grocery stores, restaurants, public transit, libraries — and use graduated exposure, reinforcement, and coping strategies to build comfort and independence. Skills include ordering food, using public restrooms, waiting in line, and navigating unfamiliar spaces.

Who This Is For

Children and teens who experience anxiety, behavioral challenges, or skill deficits in public settings, limiting the family's ability to participate in everyday activities.

How We Get Started

1

Comprehensive Assessment

Your BCBA conducts a thorough skills assessment and functional behavior assessment to establish baselines and identify priority goals.

2

Individualized Treatment Plan

A personalized plan is written with measurable goals, specific teaching procedures, and reinforcement strategies tailored to your child.

3

Ongoing Sessions & Adjustment

Therapy begins, data is collected every session, and the BCBA reviews progress regularly — adjusting the plan as your child grows.
