PositivePeerInteraction

Structured social play sessions using peer modeling and reinforcement to build friendship skills

CommunitySchool

About This Program

Therapist-facilitated sessions pair your child with same-age peers in structured activities. We use video modeling, social stories, and reinforcement to teach greetings, turn-taking, sharing, and reading social cues — skills that generalize to the playground, classroom, and community.

Who This Is For

Children who struggle to initiate or sustain play with peers, or who tend to play alongside rather than with other children. Most effective for ages 4–12.

How We Get Started

1

Comprehensive Assessment

Your BCBA conducts a thorough skills assessment and functional behavior assessment to establish baselines and identify priority goals.

2

Individualized Treatment Plan

A personalized plan is written with measurable goals, specific teaching procedures, and reinforcement strategies tailored to your child.

3

Ongoing Sessions & Adjustment

Therapy begins, data is collected every session, and the BCBA reviews progress regularly — adjusting the plan as your child grows.
