APersonalMission,AProfessionalPromise

Thank you for your interest in Progressive Behavior Solutions (PBS). PBS acknowledges how important it is to choose the right behavior therapy partner. The future success lies in very few hands, and with us lending a hand, that in and of itself comes with a great deal of trust.

The growth and achievements of our clients is a great responsibility and very important to our agency. Having a daughter with special needs, I not only fell in love with progressing and improving the quality of her life but it also served as a catalyst to pass along that strength to other individuals.

My goal here at PBS is to teach meaningful, attainable, and socially appropriate skills using positive behavior change methods. The well-being, betterment, and growth of each individual is not only my passion but my dedication.

WhoDeliversYourChild'sCare

Every PBS session is led by a qualified team — a supervising BCBA who designs the clinical program and a Behavior Technician who delivers it directly.

Behavior Technician

Behavior Technicians are trained paraprofessionals who deliver direct, one-on-one ABA therapy under the supervision of a BCBA. They implement treatment plans, collect session data, and build meaningful rapport with each child.

  • Implement BCBA-designed skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs
  • Collect accurate, session-by-session data on all targets
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with children and families
  • Model and reinforce skills in natural home and community settings
  • Communicate session observations to the supervising BCBA

Safety & Training Certification

QBSSafety-CareCertified

Our clinical staff are certified in QBS Safety-Care — a trauma-informed, evidence-based training program designed for professionals supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Safety-Care training ensures our team can de-escalate challenging behaviors safely, protect the dignity and well-being of every child, and create an environment where learning can happen without fear or coercion.

Family Feedback

WhatFamiliesAreSaying

Real stories from the families we serve across the Chicago area.

PBS Midwest has been a game-changer for our son. Nadine's team is professional, compassionate, and genuinely invested in his progress. Within just a few months he went from non-verbal to using a communication device independently.

We had tried three different ABA agencies before PBS. The difference in the quality of clinical supervision is night and day. Our BCBA actually shows up and knows my daughter's program inside and out.

As a parent, you want someone who sees your child, not a diagnosis. Nadine built that culture throughout her entire team. Our BT works so naturally with my son — he actually looks forward to his sessions.

From the very first assessment, we felt heard. The team took time to understand our daughter's specific triggers and motivators, and built a program around her — not a generic template. The progress has been remarkable.

What sets PBS apart is the consistency. Every therapist who walks through our door knows the plan, follows it, and communicates clearly with us. Our son finally has a routine he feels safe in.

February 2025

I was skeptical at first — we had heard so many promises from other providers. PBS delivered. Our daughter's communication skills have improved more in six months here than in two years elsewhere.

The bilingual support made all the difference for our family. Our son's therapist worked with us in Spanish, which helped us reinforce everything at home. It's a team effort and PBS truly treats it that way.

Nadine is hands-on in a way I've never seen from a clinical director. She checks in regularly, adjusts the program when needed, and clearly cares about every child as an individual.

Our son used to have meltdowns every single morning before school. After four months with PBS, mornings are calm. The structured routines they built carry over into every part of his day. We are so grateful.
